Jetstone acceptable use policy

Draft. This document is under review by an Australian legal practitioner and is not in force.

Version 2026-10-30

This policy forms part of the Jetstone subscription terms at /legal/terms/.

You may use Jetstone to

  • Watch and protect devices your business owns or is authorised to manage.
  • Watch and protect Microsoft 365 accounts in a tenant your business controls.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents on those devices and accounts.

You may not use Jetstone to

  • Monitor a device, account or person without the authority the law requires. Telling employees and contractors that their work devices and accounts are monitored for security is your responsibility.
  • Install the agent on a device you do not own or manage.
  • Probe, scan or test the Jetstone service, its infrastructure or other customers' workspaces, except under the Black Shard vulnerability disclosure policy at blackshard.com.au/trust#disclosure.
  • Send the service data designed to disrupt it, or exceed the request limits in a way meant to degrade it.
  • Share sign-in credentials or activation keys outside your business, or resell access except under a Black Shard reseller agreement.
  • Use incident write-ups, detections or response actions to harm, harass or surveil a person.

If this policy is broken

We may suspend a workspace that breaks this policy after telling the owner what the breach is, or at once where the breach puts the service, another customer or a person at risk. We restore access when the breach is fixed.
